Impact Assessment on the Legislative Proposals of the European Commission (EIPLE)

On February 23, 2021, the Council of Ministers approved the Agreement for the improvement of the negotiation process and incorporation of European Union law into the domestic legal order. This Agreement aims to enhance the participation of the Kingdom of Spain in the legislative drafting processes within the European Union and improve its implementation and transposition, for which the drafting of an Impact Assessment on the European Commission's Legislative Proposals (EIPLE) is planned.

During the drafting process of the EIPLE, a public participation process is carried out so that citizens, interest groups, business and trade union associations, research centers, experts, or any sector considered affected by the legislative proposal can express their views.

Thus, this channel aims to gather the opinion of the aforementioned sectors on the Commission's legislative proposals that fall within the scope of action of this Ministry due to the powers attributed to it.
